• Well equipped with most advanced machinery, tools and tackles, to handle most critical and complicated operations
• A Sub-merged arc welding set-up for welding solid and cored wires, as well as strip cladding by submerged arc and electro-slag welding process
• GMAW welding Set-up for conducting welding operations with solid and cored wires
• GTAW welding booth for welding with various alloys including aluminum welding
• A section for Brazing, especially to promote details in Brazing & soldering joints

• The main aim will be to provide Customer's Engineers / Welders Training on BWG product & application familiarization using different welding process e.g. ESSC (High speed / Single layer flux); FCAW on M&R application etc and to offer optimum solutions
• At the same time, disseminate application knowledge to new users enabling them to support during learning curve. A special focus for new users in various segments e.g. Thermal Power (esp. Super & Ultra Critical), Petro-Chemicals, Pipelines, M & R)
• To prepare “mock-up” weld test pads to simulate customer's job and develop suitable weld recommendations & procedures
• The centre will be launching New Products, testing of weld consumables, Development of special process like Brazing, Powder Spray techniques, etc.
• The Centre will attend to all Quality concerned issues for early resolution
• In general, the ATC will be developed as a Resource Centre for Pre & Post Sales Technical support as well interface in Application & Technical issues between customers and Production Companies of Bohler Welding Groups
• ATC will be maintaining Documentation of Application Knowledge gained from BWG Production Companies and Indian Industries
• ATC will be conducting Training program and welding practice session for Engineers/ Welders involving Specialists from Production Companies and invited faculties
